The 8th joint practice session was held at the Fukushima Minpo Hall on February 8-9.

On the first day, February 8, due to a nationwide cold wave, some members were unable to leave their homes, and others were delayed due to disruptions in transportation.

This time, Mr. Masato Oshiki from YAMAHA Corporation kindly brought us a gift of Hamamatsu’s famous confectionery, Unagi Pie! Thank you so much!

In the morning, we had a group ensemble practice with Mr. Yanagisawa.

Due to the peak of the exam season and the impact of illnesses such as the flu, there were many empty seats, which stood out. In order to face the performance together as a full group, we should be mindful of our health and take care to manage our condition.

During the lunch break, many sections had their group photos taken for promotional purposes.

In the afternoon, we continued with the group ensemble practice.

Similar to January, this month we have two consecutive days of practice, so the Iwate and Miyagi members are staying overnight. This time, it seems they are staying at Iizaka Onsen, at the Surikamitei Ootori.

On the second day, the 9th, we had ensemble practice just like the day before.

Before lunch, we took a group photo of the 10th batch. Compared to the photo from the kickoff in July, it feels like we’ve become much closer.

There are many members in TYO who show beautiful smiles when you point the camera at them. It's always such a cheerful moment!

This time, we received bento boxes and dorayaki from JA Kyosai Fukushima, as well as cream puffs from Mr. Yuji Arakawa of NexTone, also known as the "TYO Cream Puff Uncle."

In the afternoon, we continued with ensemble practice as usual.

Mr. Hideyuki Araki from Minpo Printing also came to the practice session and gave us words of encouragement.

Shiori Tajima, who was a member until the 9th season and served as captain during the 5th to 7th seasons, came to visit!

Her beautiful smile always brings me comfort!

The 10th season, which started in July, is now down to just the final rehearsal camp before the concert. Let's all focus on building our stamina and taking good care of our health, so that we can give our best performance at the rehearsal camp and the concert itself!
