The Tohoku Youth Orchestra Concert 2023 has ended successfully! Thank you very much to all the customers who attended. We would like to introduce the Tokyo performance held at Tokyo Opera City on Sunday, March 26th.

We will introduce you to the Tokyo performance held at Tokyo Opera City on Sunday, March 26th.

Rehearsal in the morning.

On the last day of the long tour, fatigue began to build up and several people began to complain of feeling unwell.

Captain Kikuchi also did his best to coordinate the group, even though his voice was hoarse, saying, "My throat is so dry."

During rehearsal, captain Kikuchi read a message on behalf of the group members to Director Sakamoto, who was unable to join the tour.

In fact, Director Sakamoto was able to check out the final training camp and each performance via live broadcast.


After the rehearsal, Secretary General Tanaka introduced this year's graduating members.

At the same time as graduating from school, the names of the members who were graduating from TYO were read out.

Behind the scenes, preparations are steadily underway for the performance to begin.


Panels produced by JA Kyosai are also on display in the foyer.


There was also a panel with messages from the members expressing their enthusiasm.


At the Tokyo performance, many former members came to help out as staff.

The members of the troupe take a commemorative photo backstage with their old seniors.

A message of thanks and appreciation was also presented to committee member Watanabe Masahiro.

Part 1

Ryuichi Sakamoto "Time is Tiring"

Performed with Sayuri Yoshinaga's reading (Ryuichi Sakamoto's "Kizuna World" and "aqua")

We played the following.

The participants are Hidezumi To, Koyo Anazawa, Hiroko Onisawa, and Minori Suzuki.

After the show, we received a message from director Ryuichi Sakamoto.

The members of the orchestra presented a message album to conductor Toshio Yanagisawa, Sayuri Yoshinaga, and the staff of the Tokyo and Fukushima offices.

Thank you to all the members for taking time out of your busy tour schedules to collect your messages. It was heartfelt and made me happy.


And then there was a commemorative photo shoot.

Once this day is over, they won't see each other for a while, so they seem to be sad to say goodbye.


Those returning to Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate by Shinkansen hurriedly got ready and departed by bus.

I'm going back to Tohoku!
