[Joint training session held]
[Joint training session held]
We held a joint practice session at Fukushima Minpo Hall on Sunday, December 5th.
This time, instead of the usual full orchestra style, we had a section rehearsal with the participation of teachers from the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
The string section will feature Mr. Miyagawa on violin.
The woodwind section features Mr. Hirohata on bassoon.
The brass section features Mr. Noda on trumpet.
The percussion is by Mr. Funasako.
It was a wonderful opportunity to have such top-class performers carefully examine each instrument.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers at the Tokyo Philharmonic who guided me.
In addition, alumni Asuka Yoshida (former double bass section) and Hideaki Abe (former cello section) came to support us with gifts!
thank you!
It is great for the younger members and secretariat members to see them show how much they have grown as working adults.
=====
We have one more joint training session scheduled for December.
Let's get even more motivated for our concert in March!

We offer rewards according to the amount of your donation.
Our performances, which have continued with the aim of bringing emotional recovery, are made possible by your support.
In previous years, we have received your support in the form of donations made via the Tohoku Youth Orchestra's website and donations included in the cost of concert tickets.
As we continue our activities as an orchestra while adapting to the ever-changing situation, such as holding concerts due to the spread of infection and holding practice sessions while taking infection control measures, we would not be able to survive without your continued support.
We ask for your support so that we can hold the concert without any problems, and so that we can continue our activities to promote emotional recovery through music, even 10 years after the earthquake.
