We performed at the Sukagawa City Museum in Fukushima Prefecture.

Special exhibition "Master of Japanese Painting, Toshio Matsuo -Painting the Brilliance of Life-" held at Sukagawa City Museum on Saturday, June 2nd
Museum Concert ~Prayer for Peace and Recovery~
We participated in this event as a string quartet from TYO.

The members are: violin: Takuya Ito, Miyu Sato, viola: Akira Muraoka, and cello: Kenmaru Honda.

The seats filled up in no time and there were so many people that some people had to stand.

The songs performed are:

*A small music festival

* Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring

* Cavalleria

*My favorite

*My Neighbor Totoro

*From the movie "Living with Mother" - Heiwa -

The members of the orchestra first explained the songs and then performed them, which I think made it easy for the audience to get a sense of the songs.

The final song was "Peace" from the film "Living with My Mother." Due to a connection with Toshio Matsuo, who is originally from Nagasaki, where the film was set, Yuka Matsuo heard the members practicing and quickly joined in on piano!

The quartet and piano harmonized, filling the exhibition room surrounded by Toshio Matsuo's paintings with gentle sounds.

This was the first time that both our group members and the secretariat visited Sukagawa, and we learned that it is a sister city of Ultraman's hometown, the M78 Nebula Land of Light!

There are still many places in Fukushima Prefecture that I don't know about (laughs).
