We have started crowdfunding to support volunteers in the disaster-stricken areas to perform music!

Hello everyone. I am Hashimoto, the representative of the Volunteer Performers Crowdfunding Division.

Crowdfunding began today, Wednesday, December 27th, at 10:00.

I would like to use this page to explain and promote it.

●What is crowdfunding?

To put it very simply, it is "donations that can be made over the Internet."

The process is: "We call for donations to carry out a plan, and your donations are used to carry it out."

●Why did you start crowdfunding?

In addition to the annual regular concert, the Tohoku Youth Orchestra also holds volunteer concerts. This year, they held a concert in Latobu, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture in November, and in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture in December. They are planning to hold a volunteer concert in Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture in February next year, and in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture in March.

However, to hold a volunteer concert, not only transportation costs, but also the cost of rehearsals for the concert, transportation costs for rehearsals, and transportation costs for preliminary inspections and meetings are required. All of this is borne by the volunteer performers and those who participate in the concert.

For this reason, it may become difficult to hold volunteer concerts in the future, as some venues may be unable to hold them for financial reasons, and some members may not be able to participate in volunteer concerts even if they want to. As a solution to this problem, we have decided to start a crowdfunding campaign.

●How can I contribute to crowdfunding?

There are two main ways to contribute to crowdfunding.

The first is to spread the campaign. Spread the campaign on social media such as Twitter, Facebook, LINE, and blogs. This is a free and immediate contribution. You can spread the campaign by tapping the icon at the bottom of the campaign page.

The second way is to donate to the campaign. Tap "Support" on the campaign screen and follow the instructions to select the amount you want to support. You can start from 500 yen. This is a donation that can be made from anywhere, and all you need is a credit card.

●Please help us with crowdfunding.

The goal this time is to raise 150,000 yen in the one month period from December 27th to January 27th.

For the Tohoku Youth Orchestra, whose members range from elementary school students to university students, self-payment of transportation costs is a major issue. By holding voluntary concerts, we can not only deliver music to disaster-stricken areas, but also learn about disaster prevention and ways of thinking about disaster-stricken areas by participating in voluntary concerts, which is a valuable experience for us members of the Tohoku Youth Orchestra.

We want to deliver experiences that only the Tohoku Youth Orchestra can offer, performances that only the Tohoku Youth Orchestra can offer, and music that only the Tohoku Youth Orchestra can offer. Please support us with our crowdfunding, which starts at 500 yen.
