Photo exhibition and benefit concert IN Sanyodo Bookstore/Horn

On December 24th and 25th, we held a volunteer concert at Sanyodo Bookstore in Minato Ward, Tokyo. This time, we'll be bringing you a report on the horn sextet that took place on the 24th.

We were supposed to meet at the venue on the day, but the members arrived a little early and had lunch first.

Here are the books that the horn players chose at Sanyodo Bookstore!

Mei Okuyama
New Flowers Bloom / Miyuki Miyabe
The cover was beautiful and the title was great.
I wanted to read a collection of short stories on the train.

Riku Asami
The Bees and the Distant Thunder / Riku Onda
It's about a piano competition, so I thought it was interesting because it's related to music.

Ao Kikuno
Flowers for Algernon / Daniel Keyes
It's a "masterpiece" that everyone should read at least once in their lifetime.
It's a long-selling book loved worldwide, so I wanted to read it.

Hana Takahashi
The Tale of Genji / Mitsuyo Kakuta
It was covered in class, so I was interested.

Sora Kikuno
The Analects / Shinichi Tsurugatani, translated and annotated
My homeroom teacher in high school was a classics teacher, so it brought back memories.
I wanted to reread it.

Sanyodo Bookstore has so many wonderful books!
I had a really hard time choosing these!
Please come and visit Sanyodo Bookstore!
