The 6th joint practice report
On December 21, the 6th joint rehearsal was held at Fukushima Minpo Hall. As this was the final joint rehearsal of 2025, all participants approached the practice with greater focus and enthusiasm than usual, keeping the actual performance firmly in mind.
In the morning, the rehearsal began with a full ensemble practice of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, “Fate.” Instructors from Music Force as well as tutors joined the ensemble and offered a variety of advice on tone production, phrasing, and other musical aspects. By performing while being mindful of each point, we gradually felt the sound come together and sensed the overall musical quality steadily improving.
We would like to continue refining even the smallest details and keep working hard in preparation for the performance.
In the afternoon, we rehearsed pieces composed by Director Sakamoto. While there were many challenging sections, particularly in terms of rhythm and expression, and moments that required considerable effort, we found all of the pieces to be very appealing. Treasuring the advice we received from the instructors, we hope to continue practicing and refining our performance to achieve an even higher level.
With only a limited number of rehearsals remaining, I will continue to practice diligently and make the most of each opportunity.
