Four volunteer members participated in our music festival!
On October 25th, four volunteer members participated in "Our Music Festival 2025," held in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture!
It's gotten very cold since October began.
It was also very cold in Koriyama City on the day, and members were exchanging comments like, "It's so cold," and "It's winter already."
And sadly, it rained that day.
The cold temperature and the cold rain were very difficult...
First, we rented a studio for rehearsal.
We practiced everything we could until the very end, focusing on areas we could improve.
We moved from the rehearsal venue and it was finally time for the performance.
The venue was Nakamachi Yume-dori.
Those from Koriyama's hometown will probably be familiar with this place.
This time, we performed three songs:
"Aqua" and "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence," both composed by director Ryuichi Sakamoto, and "A Town With a Sea View," both composed by Joe Hisaishi.

All the orchestra members were shaking from the cold during the performance.

The MCs also did their best, and we were able to finish the show without any problems.
I'm so happy that we were able to share our music with so many people.
Thank you to everyone who came!
We took photos and then disbanded!
It was a memorable volunteer performance, a hard-working effort in the cold.
Finally, your continued support is essential to these volunteer performances and regular practice sessions.
We appreciate your continued support so that the Tohoku Youth Orchestra can continue for many years to come.
