Hello everyone. My name is Satoka Ishikawa, and I am in charge of crowdfunding.
It's been about two months since the 10th concert. The cherry blossoms have fallen, and the leaves are now lush and green.

Currently, the Tohoku Youth Orchestra (TYO) is running two main types of donations and fundraising activities.One is to support TYO itself, and the other is for "Volunteer Concert Supporters," which helps fund volunteer concert activities.

Today, I would like to introduce you to the "Volunteer Concert Supporters."
Before that, let me explain what volunteer concerts at TYO are.

What are Volunteer Concerts?
These are concerts held mainly along the coastal areas of the three prefectures most affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. The purpose is to stay close to those in the disaster-affected areas and bring smiles through music.
The members of TYO independently plan, negotiate, and organize these concerts. Since 2016, they have been held in various locations in Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, and Tokyo.

The "Volunteer Concert Supporters," which supports these volunteer concerts, is a crowdfunding initiative that began in 2018. The funds raised are used for venue fees, transportation costs for members, and other operational expenses.Thanks to the supporters, in the 10th term, we were able to hold TYO's first volunteer concert in the Hokuriku region.

Those who join receive a weekly email newsletter every Friday, sent to their registered email address.
