The Secretary-General, Hirokazu Tanaka, has written a non-fiction book about the history of the establishment of the Tohoku Youth Orchestra and its activities, his desire to "not let the earthquake disaster be forgotten" and "the record of the recovery of children's hearts" so that everyone across the country can know about it. It is written in easy-to-read sentences that even elementary school students can read.
It was selected as a required book for the upper elementary school division of the "Yusei Kikuchi Cultural Project 54th Iwate Reading Impressions Contest" and was also selected as an excellent book selected by Fukui Prefecture (2020).
